KRÖFT didn't start in an office. It started in departure lounges and on night trains — in the habit of arriving somewhere new and needing to understand it quickly. Most of our team are multinational by birth or by choice: people who have lived in many countries and never quite unpacked. Somewhere along the way, the appetite for the next place became the work itself.

We are deliberately small and deliberately selective. Because our people have travelled the way our partners' clients travel — and lived where most only visit — we recognise what makes a journey land: the timing, the access, the detail no guidebook holds. Nomadic by nature, exacting by training.

In the places we operate, we work hand in hand with trusted local teams on the ground. That gives us two halves of one whole: people who know the country in their bones, and a multinational team who speak your client's language and yours. Nothing is lost between them — you get the best of both worlds, on a single point of contact.

We chose to master one country completely rather than spread ourselves thinly across many. Japan is where we operate today — its cities, mountains, coastlines and seasons known not from a brochure but from living and working here. In time, and only when we can hold it to the same standard, that knowledge will extend further.
